TNP is for Every NP

TNP is committed to being the professional organization Texas NPs call home for their entire careers. We are expanding the resources that matter to you most today and are developing new offerings to support you at each stage of your career.

We’re doing more to be career-stage and role-focused.

TNP is developing new strategies and resources for all our members, including students, new NPs, and practice owners. We just launched our new NP page to enable quick and easy access to curated resources. And we’ve added features to our online career center, including a resume bank for employers, current job opportunities from across the state, and resume and interviewing resources to help new NPs put their best foot forward.

We’re doubling down on being the CE provider of choice for Texas NPs
.

We know how challenging it is to keep track of licensing requirement changes. Our free CE planner makes it easy for you to plan, track and fulfill these requirements. In October, we’re launching TNP Member Lunch and Learn Webinars, a new member benefit that includes 10 free CEs! The webinars are designed to fit your busy schedule and ensure you stay current on the hottest topics. With a value of $500, this benefit alone more than justifies the $155 cost of regular annual membership.

We’re creating a state-wide network and special offerings for practice owners.

Our newest initiative is focused on identifying our members who are practice owners so that we can shine the light on the work they’re doing in their communities and provide best practices and other time-saving practice management resources. If you’re a practice owner and a current TNP member, we invite you to be part of our state-wide network. Watch for our email invitation or reach out directly to us for more information at emily@texasnp.org

We’re providing more ways for NPs across Texas to build meaningful professional connections.

The best thing about being a state-level organization is that we get to know our members, and they get to know each other. We provide in-person and online places and spaces to build life-long professional relationships. There’s no shortage of hugs and smiles when old and new friends meet up at TNP events.

I hope you’ll find the work we’re undertaking for all Texas NPs as exciting as we do. Much of our new programming is a direct result of ideas and suggestions from our members. So please, keep those ideas coming by participating in our surveys and contacting us directly at (email address).

I hope to see you at our
Annual Conference in Dallas in September. It’s shaping up to be our best conference ever!

Warmly,

Emily
