Dr. Antay Parker is a board-certified women's health nurse practitioner, certified nurse midwife, and certified registered nurse first assist in Fort Worth. She completed her DNP at The University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, undergraduate degrees in history with minor in religion at East Texas Baptist University and in nursing at UT Arlington, her MSN in Nursing Leadership at UT Tyler and MSN as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at University of Cincinnati, and post-master’s certification in nurse midwifery at Texas Tech University Health Science Center.
Her nursing career has spanned CVICU, OR, PACU, L&D, and OB Triage. She remains a certified perioperative nurse. In July 2019, she joined Acclaim Physician Group at JPS Health Network. Prior to joining Acclaim, she was in private practice in Fort Worth from 2015-2019. She also owns a surgical first assist practice in Fort Worth. Dr. Parker has presented & published on a variety of topics ranging from postoperative pain management to cardiovascular health to healthcare risk management through error reduction.
Dr. Parker has held a variety of leadership roles in Sigma Theta Tau since 2014, including her current role as President Elect of the UT Arlington Delta Theta chapter and as an International Nurse Leader Application Reviewer. She is also a member of multiple professional nursing organizations. She is a native of Louisiana but has enjoyed living in the Fort Worth area for the last thirteen years with her 17-year-old daughter, Peyton. She enjoys playing the piano and violin, going to concerts, and traveling the world.
